Anggit is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Sports Coaching Education, Faculty of Sports Science, Semarang State University, Central Java Indonesia. His research interests are in the sociology of sports, sports analysis, physical education, and sports biomechanics. Anggit is active in several sports organizations such as Central Java Petanque Federation (FOPI of Central Java), Central Java Indonesi Teqball (INATEC of Central Java). Additionally, Dr. Wicaksono is also involved in some professional activities, Ikatan Sarjana Olahraga Indonesia (ISORI) as well as an invited guest lecturer at UiTM Malaysia and Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam, to deliver basketball learning methods in physical education.
