Dr Fiona Chambers is the Head of the School of Education in University College Cork in Ireland and the Secretary General of AIESEP. She is a HPI certified Design Thinking Coach. Fiona is an educational visionary and an academic leader who uses human-centred and a problem-solving mindset to innovate. Fiona’s teaching, research and civic engagement focus particularly on the areas of (a) PE and sport pedagogy, (b) mentoring and (c) social innovation. She is a maven connecting people into powerful networks to enact educational change at third level, schools and in the community. She is the founder of the Global Design Challenge for Sport and Physical Activity.
